Terry Town (PPAI 230911, S7) donated $14,748.86 to Fred Finch Youth and Family Services in fourth quarter 2021. The San Diego-based supplier’s donation is part of its Kindly program, which gives back 3% of the proceeds from the sale of its Kindly blanket.

“We wanted to launch a program that allowed us to form a stronger connection with our local communities,” says Esmeralda Anaya, Terry Town’s marketing manager and organizer of the Kindly give back program. “The mission of Fred Finch was one that resonated with our company and we felt it was the perfect partnership to begin our community outreach journey.”

The Kindly program, which began in September, focuses on sales of the company’s DP2703 Vanilla Cookie Chenille Blanket. Sales of the blanket have so far nearly tripled Terry Town’s initial goal of $5,000.

“The goal of Kindly is simply to spread kindness anyway that we can,” says Content Manager Alp Ereren. “It was amazing to see our distributor partners on board and excited to share the story of Fred Finch and the Kindly program to their clients. We hope to continue this collaboration with Fred Finch and other organizations in our community.”

Fred Finch Youth and Family Services is an organization that provides counseling and residential programs to local San Diego and California youth that has gone through complex needs such as trauma, mental illness and poverty.

Terry Town Marketing Coordinator Elsa Vazquez says, “We love how Fred Finch uses a family-oriented approach to building a solid foundation for the youth who have been impacted. Since Terry Town is family owned and operated, we know just how important it is to have a strong family bond.”
