Reciprocity Road, a buying group with a philanthropic focus, held its annual Conclave meeting at the headquarters of distributor Quality Resource Group in Plymouth, Minnesota, September 15-18, bringing together eight member firms.

Todd Pottebaum, MAS+, president of Quality Resource Group, hosted and led the agenda alongside Reciprocity Road’s new executive director, Perry Wehrle, MAS. It included a review of the past year’s accomplishments and a focus on a strategic plan for 2020. The group was also treated to an evening cruise on Lake Minnetonka. There was consensus that Reciprocity Road continues to improve in all disciplines, skills and value toward its focus on the triple bottom line: profit, progress and purpose.

For 2020, the group will roll out The Road Rally in Scottsdale, Arizona—a chance for the significant producers from each member firm to meet in small groups with preferred vendors.

“Our Rally (sales meeting) will be a key deliverable for preferred vendors and sales partners,” says Wehrle. “This is a very exciting time for Reciprocity Road as we look to drive more shared learning collisions amongst our partner firms.”
