Otter Products (PPAI 762019, S1) will close its doors on April 22 for a day of volunteering, safely in-person and virtually. In partnership with the OtterCares Foundation, the Fort Collins, Colorado-based supplier’s closed2open program pauses all Otter Products’ operations around the world for one day to allow employees to make a difference in their communities by volunteering with local organizations.

While closed2open might look a little different this year with extra safety precautions put in place, Otter Products employees will have opportunities to support causes that are near and dear to each employee’s heart.

In addition to closed2open, Otter Products encourages employees to volunteer year-round by offering 24 hours of volunteer time off each year. In 2020, Otter Product employees were able to find safe and creative ways to help those in need—from making and donating masks to frontline workers to walking dogs to raise money for local animal shelters. In total, Otter Products employees volunteered 9,894 hours in 2020.

Otter Products invites all industry companies and individuals to join its efforts on April 22 by volunteering with or donating to favorite local organizations to make a positive change in their communities.
