PPAI’s Promomobile road trip is coming to an end as the van closes in on Las Vegas and The PPAI Expo 2019. Association staff members have visited industry companies and professionals from Texas to California over the past two weeks and now Diversity and Learning Engagement Manager Julie Kwan and Graphic Designer Nolan Moran are making their final stops in California this week before heading to Las Vegas in time for the Expo’s start next week.

Earlier this week, PPAI Associate Editor Danielle Renda and Marketing Manager Amy Bramhall, who handled the first leg of the Promomobile’s journey, handed the van off to Kwan and Moran, who have since connected with several promotional products companies in California. On Tuesday, they visited Evans Manufacturing in Garden Grover and met with Marketing Manager David Goldfarb, Data Entry and Art Manager Tiffani Burlingame and Assistant Production Manager Sheana Hirsch, for a tour of the facility. On Wednesday, Chris Hodge, senior vice president of sales at Culver City-based Innovation Line, gave them a tour of one of their production facilities and office spaces, with an up-close look at how the supplier produces acrylics, luggage tags, nail files and other products.

Today, the Promomobile is visiting Picnic Time Family of Brands in Moorpark and Simba in Oxnard, and staff is planning to meet area distributors at The Sandwich Place in Newbury Park for lunch. The meal is on PPAI for the first 20 people to arrive. Follow PPAI’s Facebook page for PPAI Promomobile updates from the road.

While the PPAI Promomobile is wrapping up its #PPAIPopUps across the U.S., show-goers at the PPAI Expo should keep an eye out for more #PPAIPopUps on the Expo show floor.
