The Michigan Promotional Professionals Association (MiPPA) has announced its 2022 board of directors executive committee and board officers. Their terms begin January 1, 2022 and run through the year.

Eric Pehrson will be president in 2022. He has served on the board of directors for two terms and served as chairman of the Ideas in Bloom Trade Show committee and as co-chair of the Membership Committee. Pehrson works for Grand Rapids distributor Creative Studio Promotions.

Glenn Miotke becomes the regional association’s president-elect/vice president. Miotke has served as the board secretary and is the editor of MiPPA Monthly, the association’s e-newsletter, and has previously served as chairman of the Promotions That ROAR! Show committee. He is the founder and president of Ann Arbor distributor Unfolding Communications.

Tony Shereda, MAS, will continue his service as treasurer. Shereda has greatly improved the association’s reporting capabilities and budgeting processes. He is the vice president of Madison Heights distributor QMI Group.

Ashley Grenell will be board secretary for 2022. Grenell is starting her second two-year term on the board and has served as co-chair of the Events Committee and chair of the Advocacy and Legislative committee. She was recently named an Industry Rising Star by PPB magazine and is the regional sales manager for supplier alphabroder/Prime Line.

Sandra Kelley, MAS, assumes the office of immediate past president. Kelley has guided MiPPA as the 2020 president and served as co-chair and co-producer of the Pyramid Award-winning Wild Wednesday Webinar Series and Tuesday Learning Lab virtual training program, roles that she plans to continue working on in the new year. She served as chair of the Promotions That ROAR! Committee this year. Kelley is the founder and president of Grand Blanc distributor Prestige Promotions.
