At its annual TOM Show, the Michigan Promotional Professionals Association (MiPPA) held a coat drive to collect coats, jackets, hats and other outerwear for distribution to the homeless and those in need in the community. With show day temperatures in the single digits and the knowledge that some 1,500 people in the Greater Detroit Area were without homes, attendees of the regional table top rep show responded with the donation of nearly 200 garments.

MiPPA partnered with Neighborhood House in nearby Rochester, which distributes clothing for free to neighbors in need and provides additional services to help them to self-sustainability. Former board member and MiPPA Hall of Fame honoree, Paul Gualtieri, MAS (pictured above), with HALO, championed the coat drive for MiPPA.
