In Memoriam: Emmett Ross

He served on PPAI’s board for five years, with his term as chair in 1985, and was a member of National Premium Sales Executives and the St. Louis Advertising Specialty Association.

After retiring from the industry in 1989, Ross purchased a cattle farm near Pocahontas, Arkansas. He moved to Jonesboro in 2006 due to ill health.

Those of us that grew up in the industry, knew Emmett as a trusted friend and advisor....really more as a part of the family. Our thoughts and prayers to Peggy and the family. We were all honored to call him our friend.

Yes, agree. I too remember the good ole Hazel days, and Emmett, and many of the great Hazel employees. All very memorable. (Especially Ginny Brinker and Terry Thomas). Sorry to hear of his passing. Guess that means we are all a little bit older.

My sympathy to the family. I remember HAZEL as one of the top suppliers of the day.
