Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Commissioner Joseph P. Mohorovic will be joining the 2016 PPAI Product Responsibility Summit, September 18-20, in National Harbor, Maryland. He will be the luncheon speaker on September 20 and will speak on CPSC priorities and their impact on the promotional products industry.

Mohorovic was sworn in as a CPSC commissioner in 2014 for a five-year term.

Prior to joining the CPSC, Mohorovic was senior vice president at product testing provider Intertek, where he was responsible for performance, growth and strategic management in the North American region. Previously, he served two terms as state representative for New Mexico’s 28th District before resigning to serve in the CPSC administration of former Chairman Hal Stratton from 2002 through 2007.

The 2016 PPAI Product Responsibility Summit includes two days of education featuring distinguished speakers, industry thought leaders and representatives from product safety labs and product certification groups.
