Charles River Apparel (PPAI 111644, S10) has begun its second annual Clothing for a Cause campaign, focusing this year’s program around three specific causes, all of which provide comfort, support and joy to youth and families.

“Charles River’s mission is to create a culture that is passionate about giving back and as a family‐owned business, we are grateful to be able to give back to such important causes in our community,” says Deb Lipsett, founder of Charles River Cares.

The Sharon, Massachusetts, supplier will use 10 percent of the total sales of each giveback style to support the mission of three charities: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts, helping children reach their potential; Christmas in the City, bringing comfort and joy to children and families in need; and Camp Kesem, supporting children affected by a parent’s cancer. The company will also host pop‐up stores throughout the year, one for each cause, to help raise awareness and increase their level of support, with a percentage of the proceeds used to support the Clothing for a Cause charities.

The Seaport Full Zip Hoodie, in styles Women’s 5091 and Men’s 9091, will support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts. Since 1904, the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters has been to create and support one‐to‐one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Part of the nation’s largest mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts creates meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”).

The Camden Crew Neck Sweatshirt, style Adult 9930, will support Christmas in the City. Christmas in the City is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers who strive to lessen the impact of homelessness on families and children living in shelters. Each year, thousands of volunteers put together an annual Christmas Party Extravaganza for children and families living in homeless shelters.

The Performer Jacket, in styles Children’s 7921 and Youth 8921, will support Camp Kesem. Camp Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. The largest national organization dedicated to supporting children dealing with a parent’s cancer, at no cost to families, Camp Kesem provides children with peers who understand their unique needs and create long‐lasting impact.
