BIC Graphic (UPIC: BIC) has contributed $198,000 to support the Wounded Warrior Project’s mission—to honor and empower wounded warriors—in 2015.

The Clearwater, Florida-based supplier guaranteed a minimum donation of $100,000 in 2015 in support of the project. Upon announcing the partnership in January, BIC made an initial donation of $50,000 to WWP and also began a year-long cause marketing campaign donating $2 for each order of select BIC Graphic products. BIC Graphic employees pledged $20,000 and the campaign has resulted in over $128,000 in proceeds through the end of October 2015—bringing the total BIC Graphic contribution to $198,000.

WWP has a vision of fostering the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in the country’s history. The Jacksonville, Florida-based organization is working toward that vision by providing 20 programs and services structured to engage warriors, nurture their minds and bodies, and encourage their economic empowerment. All programs are provided free of charge for warriors and their families.

“We’ve been so pleased by the industry’s response to our efforts on behalf of WWP,”

Says Emmanuel Bruno, vice president and general manager of BIC Graphic North America. “Our customers continue to support and promote our cause marketing program—we are far ahead of our original guarantee and look forward to the year’s final result.”
