Barbara Corcoran, a real-estate mogul who’s now one of five “shark” investors on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” has been tapped as the SAGE Show’s keynote speaker. She will share her experiences as one of America’s most successful business women and entrepreneurs on the show’s second day—Wednesday, February 27, from 9 – 10 am at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The session is free to all show registrants.
Corcoran started New York-based real estate company The Corcoran Group in the 1970s and grew it with an initial investment of $1,000 before selling it for $70 million. Today, she’s one of the country’s most successful entrepreneurs, a syndicated columnist, investor, speaker, business consultant and author of three books including Shark Tales: How I turned $1,000 into a Billion Dollar Business.
The inaugural SAGE Show, which replaces the long-running MAPPS show usually held in August, also features a full education day on Tuesday, February 26, with programming designed by PPAI from 9 am – 3 pm and the SAGE-based education courses from 10 am – 5 pm. The tradeshow floor is open on Wednesday from 10 am – 4 pm and on Thursday from 10 am – 3 pm. Distributors may bring their clients to the show on Thursday if they choose.
