1. How did your company get its start?
My company got its start when another left the business. I “inherited” the clients of a person who had been in the industry for a long time and had decided to move on.
2. What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry?
I find that it’s a fun industry. I’m able to provide people with what they need and help their businesses grow. Also, I’ve got a background in art and I enjoy the graphic aspects of it. And I enjoy the freedom that being my own boss gives me.
3. When did you know that you wanted to work in this industry?
My enthusiasm came very quickly, within the first few months of learning about the industry. I’ve worked in the business for quite a while, first with Forrester-Smith and then later with Geiger after they bought them out. And now I own my own business.
4. Why did you join PPAI?
There’s a lot about PPAI that works well for me—the cost of membership, the service I receive, the shows it hosts and the publications it produces. It’s a good thing for me and my business.
