This year, at The PPAI Expo, the Association unveiled its new PPAI Industry Directory designed to provide an improved user experience and simplified navigation process to search for distributors, suppliers and business services companies.

“Part of the impetus to develop the new directory was to provide Association members with a tool that allowed them to search for industry professionals beyond just PPAI members,” says PPAI Director of Membership Natalie Clark. “The directory includes PPAI Associates who are qualified industry professionals who attend The PPAI Expo, international suppliers and distributors along with PPAI member companies.”

Member companies’ entries in the directory include their company profile, contact information, category level (company size), company description, a link to their website and awards won. Supplier companies can also list their product categories and promote brand names.

New capabilities introduced with the directory include an option to conduct wildcard searches to quickly find a specific company. Clark says, “The filters feature allows users to search for companies within a certain sales volume range, or filter women-, minority- and veteran-owned businesses, and companies with a Made in the USA distinction. Users can also use the filters to find companies that provide services to the industry, search for competitors and find people met through networking.”

The PPAI website has a tab at the top titled “MyPPAI” that will take users directly to their company profile where they can manage account information, update their company roster, adopt the PPAI Code of Conduct, access their education transcripts and more.

With an eye to continue to enhance the PPAI Industry Directory, the Association welcomes feedback through the provided “Feedback” option. PPAI will use the feedback to prioritize ongoing development efforts to make the directory a favorite member benefit.
