HALO Branded Solutions (PPAI 106462) has announced the winners of the Sterling, Illinois, distributor’s semi-annual scholarship competition.

The winners are:

  • First Place – Alexis M. Preiss of Windermere, Florida. Alexis is studying at the University of Central Florida and received $1,500.
  • Second Place – Scott Dixon from Franklin, Tennessee. Scott is studying at the University of Tennessee and received $1,000.
  • Third Place – Rachel Hennessey of Windham, New Hampshire. Rachel is a high school senior planning to attend The Catholic University of America. She received $500.

The competition is open to full-time students pursuing their undergraduate degrees and considers essay submissions from students across the U.S. Judges evaluate the essays based on creativity, relevance, knowledge of the chosen topic and a commitment to excellence. Candidates were required to show a minimum grade point average of 3.25 and submit a letter of recommendation along with their essay. Winning essays will be published on HALO's blog.
