BPMA Celebrates TPM Program Graduates
The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) celebrated the accomplishments of its Trained in Promotional Merchandise (TPM) education program graduates with an event at The Royal Air Force Club in Mayfair, London, on April 24. BPMA’s Head of Education Daniela Arena and Director General Gordon Glenister presented the certificates.
The BPMA’s TPM qualification is aimed at individuals who have up to three years of industry-specific experience. Students earned credits for the qualification through a series of mandatory and elective courses as well as by attending BPMA events. After earning 125 credits, students become eligible for the TPM exam.
“I have gotten to know many of the learners and those who succeed (even if they have to take the exam twice) have worked hard, and it means a lot to them,” says Arena. “Some study over the weekends which is a testament to their commitment and drive to succeed. I invigilate the exams. I’ve seen tears of joy, tears of sadness, I have seen frustration when they have been just one question away from passing, and I see that real sense of achievement when they have passed, which is why it is an honor and privilege to reward and give recognition for their achievement and commitment to their professional development.”
