HALO Branded Solutions has launched a scholarship contest to award $3,000 toward an undergraduate degree. The Sterling, Illinois-based distributor is also a longstanding supporter of the Promotional Products Educational Foundation (PPEF) that provides scholarships for promotional products professionals and their dependents.

“The promotional leaders of tomorrow are expanding their academic horizons today,” says Terry McGuire, HALO senior vice president of marketing. “Leadership in its truest form involves investing in the future, and HALO is proud to invest in the marketing leaders that will change our industry directly and indirectly in the next decade.”

In the contest, HALO is looking for outstanding students who demonstrate creativity, passion for marketing and an unmatched standard of excellence in their fields. Requirements for the scholarship contest include a cumulative 3.0 GPA, letter of recommendation and an essay responding to one of three marketing-related topics.
