The Vernon Company (PPAI 109323, D11), based in Newton, Iowa, recognized PCNA as the recipient of its 2019 Supplier of the Year Award during the company’s annual National Sales Meeting.

The distributor’s Supplier of the Year Award is given annually to the industry supplier that provides the best overall service to The Vernon Company and its customers. The award is based on important quality considerations, including presale quotations, sample policies and procedures, prompt service on inquiries, on-time order shipments, customer service responsiveness and marketing support programs. Suppliers are rated for product selection, quality, reliability, customer service, resolution, marketing support and overall partnership. This year, PCNA received “exceptional” votes in all categories.

“This award is based on so much more than sales growth, but it is a contributing factor. Last year Vernon sales with PCNA increased by nearly 25 percent,” says Vicki Palm, director of marketing for The Vernon Company. “Our partnership with PCNA has really grown over the past few years. From the top down, they took an interest in Vernon and made changes to become a true partner. They have increased communication with us at every level, participate in our marketing programs and events, and have worked hard to build personal relationships with our account executives.
