In support of those affected by the recent floods in Louisiana, SAGE will designate a dedicated donation area at The SAGE Show taking place this week in Irving, Texas.

SAGE is asking for overruns or misprinted samples, t-shirts and other clothes, bottled water, sealed food, toiletries (soap, shampoo, toilet paper, personal hygiene products), items for pets/flooded shelters (leashes, bowls, beds, toys, food), children’s toys, backpacks and school supplies. SAGE will work with PPAI to get the items to those in need.

Those not attending the show can also contribute through the Baton Rouge Foundation, which is directing donations to nonprofits helping flood victims now. More information is available here.

Representatives from the Business Recovery Fund (BRF), supported by PPAI and the Regional Association Council (RAC), have reached out to 244 companies located in the affected area to let them know that funds are available to help them recover. The first step is filling out a needs assessment form and e-mailing it to brf@ppai.org. Responses are typically sent in fewer than five business days. The BRF has already received at least one request for assistance.

Running August 31 and September 1 at the Irving Convention Center, the fourth annual SAGE Show is expected to bring in more than 200 exhibitors from around the country. Distributor attendees from across the region will have access to an extensive show floor, plus the same high-quality education that industry practitioners find at The PPAI Expo and Expo East.
