The PPAI Expo Conference Brings A Curated Education Experience To Las Vegas

The PPAI Expo 2022, January 10-13 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, introduces a new concept in education, The PPAI Expo Conference. The one-day education event on January 10 offers attendees an insightful look at current business trends with a speaker lineup drawn from experts inside and outside the promotional products industry. The PPAI Expo Conference is free to Association members and $99 for nonmembers.

“The PPAI Expo 2022 Conference is designed to offer a curated learning experience that highlights powerful and inspiring speakers and content that will leave attendees energized and ready to tackle the new year,” says Professional Development Manager Pamela Brown-Matthis.

The Conference schedule includes several general session presentations and numerous breakout sessions, exploring a wide range of subjects. Speaker, author and veteran hospitality industry executive Simon T. Bailey will get the Conference started with his 9 am keynote, “Become A Breakthrough Thinker.”

Following Bailey on the main stage are two general session panel discussions. At 10 am, PPAI President and CEO Dale Denham, MAS+, will moderate a conversation, “Leading Through Adversity,” with Dawn Olds, MAS, senior vice president of operations at distributor HALO; David Nicholson, president of supplier Polyconcept North America; Tom Goos, MAS, president of distributor Image Source; and Rosanne Webster, chief information officer at supplier SnugZ USA. The panelists will discuss the challenges that confront leaders running a business and share insights on how to lead through difficult decisions.

At 12:45 pm, the second general session panel, “Building A Framework For Diversity, Equity And Inclusion In The Workplace,” brings together Kathy DiFrancesco, CAS, vice president of sales at SnugZ USA; Elise Lindborg, CEO at Brand|Pride; Latisha Marshall, vice president of operations for ePromos Promotional Products, LLC; and moderator Johanna Gottlieb, vice president of sales, Midwest, for distributor HALO. Their conversation will examine diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), an important topic in the promotional products industry considering changing demographics, globalization and the competition for talent, and discuss the challenges and opportunities of creating and sustaining an inclusive culture.

Throughout the day, Conference attendees can choose from 16 breakout sessions, tailoring their education experience to meeting their needs. The sessions feature a wide range of subjects, presented by recognized industry thought-leaders. Subjects include finding success in the post-pandemic new economy, fusing virtual and personal selling, creating competitive differentiation and more.
