Distributor 4imprint (UPIC: 4imprint) has been named to Great Place to Work’s 100 Best Workplaces for Women list for the second year in a row. To put together the 100 Best Workplaces for Women list, Great Place to Work Institute asked more than 137,500 women to rate the quality and fairness of their workplaces in its Great Place to Work’s Trust Index survey. Researchers found the top 100 companies were more likely to have consistent, inclusive environments that support both women and men.

“Every associate plays a part in making 4imprint the kind of place where people can work hard, be themselves, have fun and make a difference for teammates, customers and community,” says Kevin Lyons-Tarr, CEO of Oshkosh, Wisconsin-based 4imprint. “So, when we’re recognized for treating people equally, we know that honor belongs to our entire team because they make it happen.”

The Great Place to Work Trust Index asks workers to rate their employers on a wide range of issues, from fairness in company promotions to support for employees’ personal lives and the level of connection they feel with colleagues. Great Place to Work measures women’s responses and compares them to those of their male colleagues. Researchers also consider how well represented women are in management and in leadership positions and in the company overall.

“There’s a strong correlation between being able to talk openly with company executives and feeling like a workplace is fair,” adds Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “The Best Workplaces for Women do well at paving the way for those open dialogs, and as a result, women are more likely to feel they get fair consideration in their jobs and careers.”
