On September 28, Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) in Santa Barbara, California, dedicated the Jack and Julie Nadel School of Business and Entrepreneurship. Julie Nadel, SBCC President Anthony Beebe and SBCC Foundation CEO Geoff Green were on hand for the ribbon cutting. Nadel’s husband, Jack Nadel, industry pioneer and founder of distributor Jack Nadel International, passed away in 2016.

In February, she and the Nadel Foundation made a $1 million gift to the SBCC School of Business and Entrepreneurship. The endowment fund established with the gift will support, in perpetuity, the highest needs of the programs and initiatives of all academic disciplines that comprise the SBCC Business Division. In recognition of this generous gift, the school’s Business Division was named the Jack and Julie Nadel School of Business and Entrepreneurship.

The endowment will support all of the business disciplines at SBCC: accounting; business administration; business law; real estate; management; entrepreneurship; computer information systems; computer applications; finance; international business; marketing; and the experiential offerings of the Scheinfeld Center for Entrepreneurship. Jack Nadel International will also be offering internships to students in the program.
