SAGE Show 2018 Exceeds Overall Expectations

SAGE Show 2018, hosted by industry technology provider SAGE, drew more than 1,000 industry professionals and more than 300 invited clients to the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas, on August 30 to explore over 250 supplier lines. SAGE and PPAI also joined forces to provide professional education sessions throughout the day dedicated to exploring cutting-edge technology, improving sales and marketing skills, and promoting growth for promotional products businesses.

“It’s extremely rewarding and exciting to bring our industry together each year for SAGE Show,” says Eric Natinsky, SAGE CEO. “The open dialogue and positive feedback that we receive each year inspires us to continue delivering the best experiences for promotional products professionals.”

SAGE Show 2018 also featured the debut of new SAGE Mobile technology, which allowed distributors to more easily pick up their badge and navigate the show floor. Using SAGE’s new, proprietary SAGE Positioning System, SAGE Mobile users were able to retrieve their badges by simply opening SAGE Mobile and walking up to a kiosk. Then, once on the show floor, the new technology tracked the attendee’s journey by showing a “you are here” blue dot on the floor plan. SAGE Mobile also automatically identified nearby booths and showed them in a panel at the top of the exhibitor list, making it simple for attendees to take notes, pictures and videos while in each booth.

Natinsky adds, “This new technology we’ve built is the first of its kind not only in our industry, but in the trade show industry as a whole. Along with all of the other features in our SAGE Mobile app and SAGE ShowLink lead retrieval app, we’re putting the promotional products industry at the forefront of trade show technology, making trade shows more productive for both the attendees and the exhibitors. We’re excited to bring this technology to all of the other shows that are managed by SAGE Event Services.”

This is our 5th year that the MLR Alliance has partnered with SAGE. One of the main reasons that our group, The MLR Alliance purchases over 26 booth spaces each year at the SAGE show is they make it enjoyable for all of our suppliers. They also provide excellent marketing of their event and have an abundance of talented staff to support your every need. It is a pleasure working with Blake Bozeman and the entire show staff. Each one of our suppliers members of the MLR Alliance continue to rave about the excellent service provided by SAGE right down to the unloading and loading assistance provided. We only wish more organizations that undertake an event like the SAGE Show would put their clients first, treat them with respect and make them look forward to their next hosted venue.
