SAGE-HALO-Visit

HALO Branded Solutions’ Susan Heneson Kornblatt (far left) gathered her Baltimore teammates to meet PPAI’s Editor Tina Berres Filipski (third from left) who was in for a visit in advance of the SAGE Seminar Series.

After taking a break for a couple of years, the SAGE Seminar Series is back in 2016 and is bringing a free day of SAGE product training to distributors in nine cities across the U.S. The series began in Cleveland, Ohio, in April and will wrap up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in October.

Along with training on SAGE Online, order management, SAGE’s website development tools and other products, the program includes a 30-minute PPAI overview to help attendees learn how to maximize their membership in the industry’s trade association. As first announced on April 5, distributors who sign up with SAGE automatically receive the combined benefits of both a PPAI membership and a SAGE Total Access subscription through the Power of Two alliance.

Members of the PPAI management team hit the road this spring to present the PPAI portion of the SAGE Seminar Series. The inaugural presenter was Carol Gauger, MAS, director of member engagement, who traveled to Cleveland on April 5, followed by Rachel Robichaud, director of professional development, who presented at the Denver, Colorado, session on April 12. Tina Berres Filipski, director of publications/editor, traveled to Baltimore for the May 3 program. She arrived a day early to tour HALO Branded Solutions’ local offices and meet with Susan Heneson Kornblatt, corporate branding director. Filipski also visited supplier Towel Specialties and met with Lisa Shaffer, eastern regional sales director, who gave her a tour of the factory and explained the company’s towel decoration process.
