Reciprocity Road (RR), an alliance of 10 distributors across the U.S and Canada comprising approximately $230 million in promotional products spending, recently held its fifth Conclave Strategic Planning Event in Raleigh, North Carolina, to set its 2022 strategic plan.

The conclave was hosted at RR member company Brand Fuel’s new office by partners Danny Rosin, CAS, and Robert Fiveash, and was facilitated by communsku’s Mark Graham.

During the meeting, RR members experienced a unique “pay what you can” nonprofit café called A Place At The Table, that provides healthy meals, dignity and community to all diners, regardless of their ability to pay. The meals have a recommended price that the customer can pay for or pay more for. Or, if they have limited financial means, they can also volunteer for their meal. The cafe serves more than 100 free meals in addition to more than 500 paid meals daily. RR’s partners are supporting the organization’s mission with a donation of $5,000. Going forward, RR will look to implement a BrandGood give‐back program to support nonprofits in the areas where their annual Conclave meetings are hosted.

“It filled my heart to see my hometown through the fresh eyes of the good people in Reciprocity Road,” says Rosin, who serves on the board at The Table. “Their commitment to leaving our area, through a meaningful donation to a place I love, better than it was before they came, is the spirit of RR.”

Maggie Kane, executive director and founder of A Place At The Table, adds, “We love when the wonderful people from the promo industry come to dine and volunteer at Table. Reciprocity Road’s generous spirit and financial gift will deliver healthy meals, dignity and community to people in need in our area. On behalf of our team, thank you so very much.”
