The PSI Show, Europe’s largest trade show for the promotional products industry, returns to the Exhibition Centre in Düsseldorf, Germany, January 8-10, 2019. For the first time, the show will be held in conjunction with PromoTex Expo, the international trade show for promotion, sports and workwear, and viscom, the European trade fair for visual communication.

Attendees at The PSI Show will have full access to PromoTex Expo and viscom, and can sign up for one or more of four themed tours for an overview of what all three shows have to offer. Tours conducted under the themes “Go for it!” and “Discover your Opportunities!” will lead participants to exclusive insight into the world of visual communication at viscom. The “Get Inspired!” tour will take visitors through the Textile Campus at PromoTex Expo, the point-of-sale displays competing for the Display SUPERSTAR Award, the winning products of the Sustainability Awards 2018, the viscom live sign-making workshop and the new PSI Product Presentations area featuring the industry’s bestsellers. Stops on the fourth tour, “Boost your Knowledge!” include the Merchandising & Licensing Lounge, the Corel & Adobe Forum and the two presentation platforms, the Marketing Innovations Forum—with topics such as quality assurance, legal issues and solutions when dealing with brands and licenses, and the possibilities of deploying environmentally-friendly advertising materials and associated logistical concerns—and Forum 13, where experts will share information on sustainable trends and innovations, the latest trends in textile advertising and distinctive corporate identity branding and more.

New industry products will be spotlighted at PSI First, where visitors can cast their vote for the People’s Choice Awards. Product inventors and first-time exhibitors in Halls 11 and 12 will showcase fresh ideas straight from their workshops. At the GUSTO Pavilion, visitors can participate in a promotional product tasting and check out promotional culinary products for themselves.

The PSI Show is a closed event, but for the third consecutive year, distributors have an opportunity to invite their customers to attend on the third day of the show. “Ever since they’ve opened the trade show to industry customers for one day, we’ve used PSI as a marketing tool to let our customers experience the diversity and professionalism of our industry. The response has been outstanding,” says Daniel Meffert, managing director of S&P Werbeartikel.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the trade show and yet central to all the action, several retreat areas will be set aside to network, get work done or simply take a break. Also, new this year is a Members Only Lounge in Hall 10 which will also offer an overview of all PSI services and allows access exclusively to PSI members.
