PPAI’s fourth annual Promotional Products Work! Week (PPW!W), a five-day international event aimed at raising awareness of the benefits of promotional products in advertising and marketing, and delivering the message that promotional products work to advertisers, marketers and media buyers, will be held May 23-27.

PPW!W is an opportunity for industry companies across the globe to build connections with advertisers, customers and the community, onn their own or in collaboration with regional associations. PPW!W’s message will also travel to Washington, D.C. during the seventh annual PPAI Legislation Education and Action Day (L.E.A.D.). Held concurrently on May 25-26, the event brings industry professionals to Capitol Hill to meet with senators, congressional representatives and legislative staff, and educate them on the industry.

The 2016 PPW!W advertising campaign expands on the Product Persona campaign launched in October 2014. The business-to-business campaign targets media buyers at corporate advertisers and ad agencies, and is designed to raise awareness and increase traffic to PPAI’s buyer-facing website, PromotionalProductsWork.org. Ultimately, the campaign will educate buyers and drive business to promotional products distributors.

This time around products are shown in their natural environment—with people. The campaign focuses on the many types of relationships between promotional products and the users. The campaign launches during PPW!W and will be communicated in print, digital and video.

PPAI has made it easy for companies to reach out to media buyers and create local marketing tools using the Product Persona campaign tool kit. Whether for social media, a print ad or on a website, the tool kit includes ideas, copy, photos and how-to information. The tool kit is easy to use and available here.

PPW!W includes opportunities for the entire industry—large and small companies, regional associations, distributors and suppliers, multi-line representatives and business services providers—to work hand-in-hand to promote the fact that promotional products work.
