Proforma (PPAI 196835, D13) recently held its first in-person event in two years, the 2021 Convention & Family Reunion at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The Cleveland, Ohio-headquartered distributor brought together owners, sales representatives, support staff and preferred supplier partners to celebrate business success, participate in more than 80 educational seminars, network with industry leaders and experience hands-on workshops designed to build a comprehensive success tool kit.

“Our theme this year was ‘Together,’” says Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma. “We believe that after over two years apart, it was critical for our owners and preferred supplier partners to get together again and re-connect, re-envision, reenergize and re-commit themselves to leading the life that they aspire to achieve. The educational sessions this year put an emphasis on providing our owners with the resources and strategies to help streamline their business processes, increase their productivity and achieve their business goals.”

Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo, CAS, adds, “This year’s convention was also a celebration of our owners’ ongoing tremendous business success. We celebrated a record-breaking year with an additional 38 members joining the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Clubs. In addition, while industry sales were down 30-40 percent, Proforma owners achieved 10 percent revenue growth amidst a global pandemic. This is truly a testament to Proforma being the industry’s technology and business success leader.”

Other headlining events this year included Proforma’s first-ever XLerate Supplier Event that included 170 case studies from more than 80 of the industry’s leading suppliers. Owners received an exclusive look at recent orders that have resulted in nearly $10 million worth of orders over the last 12-months.

“Proforma’s Annual Convention & Family Reunion allows you to network with and to learn from the industry’s best Supplier Partners and the best Owners all in one place,” says Steven Flaughers, owner of Proforma 3rd Degree Marketing in Canton, Ohio, a Multi-Million Dollar Club member and Proforma’s incoming Owner Advisory Council president. “Being a part of Proforma and attending this event provides a unique opportunity to network and share new strategies that will help us experience new levels of success. Understanding how other owners got to where they are today has helped me take my own business to new heights.”
