Distributor Proforma (PPAI 526562, D16) hosted more than 125 community leaders and volunteers for Lamplighter’s Annual Kickoff Luncheon to benefit the homeless of Tampa Bay. Lamplighters is a 35 year-old organization dedicated to serving Tampa’s homeless children and families in need by engaging in activities to improve their health, education and rehabilitation, and by providing opportunities for their spiritual development.

“We were pleased with the results of this year’s luncheon as it represented the best turnout and membership drive in the history of our organization,” says Debbie Trujillo, president of Lamplighters. “As the awareness of homelessness continues to grow, an increasing number of people are generously sharing their time, treasure and talent with this cause.”

During the luncheon, Debbie Trujillo presented Lamplighters’ vision and mission for the upcoming year. She was joined by the leaders of Metropolitan Ministries, a charity that services at-risk and homeless families, and Joshua House, a safe haven for abused, abandoned and neglected children. Both of these non-profit organizations directly benefit from Lamplighters’ work and donations.

“It was a privilege to host Lamplighters annual kick-off luncheon,” says Vera Muzzillo, CAS, Proforma CEO. “The work that this amazing organization accomplishes is an inspiration to all of Tampa Bay, and Proforma is honored to contribute to this very worthy cause.”
