Proforma Celebrates Owners’ Accomplishments At Annual Convention

Proforma (PPAI 196835) held its ‘Inspire U’ collegiate-themed 2019 Convention & Family Reunion this week at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The convention brought together a record number of the Independence, Ohio-headquartered distributor’s member owners, sales representatives, support staff, supplier partners and special guests, with nearly 700 attendees coming together to celebrate the business success of the owners, participate in more than 80 educational seminars and experience hands-on technology demonstrations of ProVision, Proforma’s business management technology solution.

“Our theme this year was ‘Inspire U’,” says Greg Muzzillo, founder of Proforma. “We believe that owners and suppliers have inspirational stories to share. That, paired with our new business management technology system, gives our owners the resources and strategies to help streamline their business processes, increase their productivity and achieve their business goals.”

Vera Muzzillo, Proforma’s CEO, adds, “This year’s convention was also a celebration of our owners’ ongoing, tremendous business success. More than 200 owners grew their sales by double digits, and five of our owners were recognized in the Top 6 ASI Fastest Growing Industry Distributorships, including the No. 1 and No. 2 fastest-growing distributorships.”

Other events this year included the industry’s largest private supplier showcase, featuring more than 300 suppliers as well as supplier roundtable discussions. The New Product Spotlight event also allowed owners and sales representatives to network with industry suppliers and to take an exclusive look at hot, new products from each supplier partner.

“Proforma’s Annual Convention & Family Reunion is the only private event of this magnitude that allows you to network with and learn from the industry’s best supplier partners and the best owners all in one place,” says Tim Meffert, owner of Proforma Effective Solutions in Jackson, Wisconsin, Multi-Million Dollar Club Member and Proforma’s Owner Advisory Council president. “Being a part of Proforma and attending this event provides a unique opportunity to network and share new strategies that will help us experience new levels of success. Understanding how other owners got to where they are today has helped me take my own business to new heights.”
