Promotional Product Professionals of Canada (PPPC) surveyed its members to learn more about what effects the COVID-19 pandemic has had on their businesses and the promo industry in Canada.

Among the survey’s findings, compared to the same period in 2019, more than 50 percent of PPPC’s members have seen a 40-percent or more decrease in sales between January and May 2020. Half of its members hope to see sales increase, at least slightly, between July and September.

Product prices are expected to stay the same or decrease slightly, and the health/medical field is expected to account for the largest share of business in the next six to 12 months. The survey found that 45 percent of PPPC’s members say that PPE and hand sanitizer have accounted for 30 percent or more of their sales over the past three months.
