The Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF), the industry’s nonprofit founded to recognize and encourage scholastic excellence and academic performance among promotional products industry employees and their college-aged children, has announced that Rich Corvalan of Sharon, Massachusetts-based Charles River Apparel will be joining the PPEF board of trustees, effective immediately. He will fill a vacated position through January 2020.

Corvalan has worked in the promotional products industry for the past 10 years, joining Charles River Apparel, where he serves as vice president of sales, almost three years ago. He participated in the PPEF essay and resume judging in 2018 and is involved with several charitable organizations, including Christmas In the City with Charles River Apparel and Katie’s Closet.

Funded by PPAI and generous donations from companies and individuals within the promotional products industry, the PPEF scholarship program enables youth and professionals to continue their education at the collegiate level. The Association and industry patrons have a long-standing commitment of service to the promotional products industry and this fund supports those who demonstrate the same commitment.
