PPB reveals its annual selection of the Best Bosses in the promotional products industry. This year’s lineup spotlights 15 managers who were nominated by those who report to them. The competition ran from June 12 to July 10. More than 100 individuals were nominated this year—a record for the program that began in 2010.

The process required nominees to explain why they consider their boss the best, including providing examples showing how they act as mentors, lead by example, create an environment of collaboration, celebrate success and other actions.

“This year’s nominations were especially complimentary of bosses who coached their direct reports through problem situations and helped them develop creative solutions,” says PPB Editor Tina Berres Filipski.

“Many of the nominations also paid tribute to good listeners and those who offer encouragement as well as bosses who strengthen their direct reports by giving them challenging assignments and honestly believing they’ll succeed. There’s a lot all managers can all learn from this year’s Best Bosses.” Read their advice and learn more about them in PPB’s October issue.
