Sessions at PPAI’s upcoming Virtual Product Responsibility Summit, to be held September 14-18, will explore a wide range of the most pressing business implications, challenges and opportunities associated with compliance. One of the Summit’s earliest sessions, scheduled for September 14 at 11:10 am – 12:10 pm CT, examines the wide range of government agencies engaged in product safety and compliance.

“Agency Alphabet Soup: CDC, CBP, CPSC, DOT, EPA, FDA, FTC, OSHA. The Who. The What. The Why” explains the various regulatory bodies that have some level of oversight on businesses and identify what they do and how they interact with the promotional products industry. It will use the ever-popular PPE category to illustrate the challenges of multiple regulatory jurisdictions. The session, which includes 45 minutes of panel discussion and 15 minutes of Q&A with the audience, will be moderated by Cheryl Falvey with Crowell and Moring, and include Lesley Fair of the U.S. Fair Trade Commission and Dan Solis of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
