PPAI has been recognized with two Communicator Awards, presented by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts. The Association received a Communicator Award of Excellence for the PPAI Pyramid Award campaign and a Communicator Award of Distinction for the PPAI Expo: Experience Extraordinary campaign—both in the Marketing/Promotions category.

“Obviously, the most important thing, when it comes to a marketing campaign, is results. But when you top off positive results with recognition at an international level, that just makes it all that much more special,” says PPAI Director of Marketing Keith Vincent. “I think it’s an honor for PPAI and the marketing team. And I also think it’s a win for the industry. We used promotional products in both campaigns. Entering and winning increases our industry’s exposure and gives us another opportunity to show the creative ways promotional products can be an integrated part of any marketing campaign.

The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. Founded nearly three decades ago, The Communicator Awards receives more than 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. The Award of Excellence, its highest honor, is given to those entrants whose ability to communicate positions them as the best in the field. The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement.

The Communicator Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms.
