PPAI’s Barnett Joins CASA’s Tropical Show To Speak On Millennial Issues
Last week, PPAI Diversity Development and Engagement Manager Seth Barnett traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for the Caribbean Advertising Specialties Association’s (CASA) 2017 Tropical Show.
As part of the show’s full education day dedicated to Millennials in the industry, “Get To Know Millennials,” Barnett delivered two presentations to attendees. His first session discussed Millennials in the workforce, while the second explored Millennial consumers with a specific emphasis on consumerism in Puerto Rico.
Alongside Barnett’s sessions, CASA invited two local politicians who had advocated for Millennial understanding and workplace cooperation, Manuel Cidre and Alexandra Lugaro. Cidre spoke on how the Millennial market holds a significant place and a common understanding between generations must be found quickly. Lugaro spoke on being a Millennial in a resistant market and what it means to be a young female leader.
