PPAI, in partnership with the Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY) and in cooperation with the Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS), has announced that Expo East 2016 show dates will be moved to March 16-19, 2016, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The new show pattern, first announced Monday in a PPB Newslink Breaking News, will include an education day on Wednesday, March 16, and the show dates will shift to Thursday through Saturday, March 17-19. The trade show combines the best in PPAI professional development, a PPAI Expo-style show floor experience and the decorated apparel industry’s latest technologies and hottest trends presented by ISS, all in one place at one time.

“We are pleased to announce the new Expo East 2016 show dates,” says Paul Bellantone, CAE, PPAI president and CEO. “We listened and made the shift our suppliers and distributors wanted. As a member-focused organization, PPAI is committed to meeting the needs of its members, exhibitors and attendees. By shifting to Thursday through Saturday, PPAI is answering the call and continuing to grow a show environment that is more welcoming and vibrant than ever before. We continue to celebrate the partnership with ISS. The shift in show dates demonstrates the strength of our collaboration to build success for all attendees and exhibitors.”

Over the course of three days, 8,000 combined Expo East and ISS distributors and decorators will gather, representing some of the most creative and innovative minds in business, design, technology and production for conversations and hands-on interaction with more than 550 exhibitors in 960 booths.

ISS Show Director Jeff Brown says, “The entire team at the Imprinted Sportswear Shows is looking forward to partnering with PPAI’s Expo East for our second annual co-location in Atlantic City in 2016. The shift of our joint date pattern will open the combined Expo to more attendance across the board. In-depth research went into consideration by both groups, and we see 2016 as being even better than our first year in March 2015.”

In 2014, Trade Show Executive magazine honored Expo East as a Fastest 50, designating it as one of the  top 50 trade shows in terms of of exhibit space, exhibitors and attendance based on the percentage of growth from 2012 to 2013.

Look for Expo East 2016 registration to open in late October 2015.
