As first announced Monday in a PPB Newslink Breaking News alert, supplier Polyconcept’s European subsidiary, PF Concept International B.V. (PF), has acquired the entire share capital of SPS (EU) Limited (SPS). Based in Blackpool, UK, SPS is a leading manufacturer and marketer of promotional products serving the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Polyconcept operates on five continents, with business in more than 100 countries. Its U.S.-based subsidiary, Polyconcept North America, oversees suppliers Leed’s (PPAI 112361), Bullet (PPAI 113079), JournalBooks (PPAI 110769) and Trimark (PPAI 198982). Alongside Polyconcept North America and PF Concept International, the company’s business divisions include Global Buying Services, Polyconcept International Markets, Intermed and International Textile Procurement Services.
 
With this transaction, PF expands its offering of promotional, premium and corporate gift products throughout Europe and strengthens its market position in the UK. PF Concept provides a one-stop-shopping solution for 9,200 promotional products distributors in more than 60 countries. Headquartered in Roelofarendsveen, near Amsterdam, the Netherlands, it operates from 17 sales offices throughout Europe.
 
SPS is a hard goods supplier specializing in plastic injection molding and differentiated in-mold decoration. The company has more than 350 employees across three manufacturing facilities in the UK. It is known for its custom-made, innovative promotional products, including the Americano drinkware line. SPS serves customers in more than 40 countries.
