PF Concept International Coöperatief U.A (PFCI), the European subsidiary of Polyconcept, parent company of supplier Polyconcept North America, has completed the acquisition of UK-based print-on-demand (PoD) company T Shirt & Sons Ltd. Headquartered in Westbury, UK, with a subsidiary in Venlo, Netherlands, T Shirt & Sons is one of the largest digital printing and fulfilment companies in Europe and serves many of the largest global marketplaces, ecommerce platforms and retailers. In addition to PoD services, the print specialist also manages its retail partners’ ecommerce shops and provides shipping services.

In announcing the acquisition, Polyconcept said the company is excited about the future of this growing market and the opportunity to leverage T Shirt & Sons’ expertise in printing, service and digital capabilities across its global operations. Polyconcept will benefit from T Shirt & Sons’ knowledge of this segment of the print market and will continue to invest to further grow T Shirt & Sons’ market presence and capabilities.

“T Shirt & Sons was an early entrant in the European direct-to-garment market and has used its industry proprietary technology and processes to become the leading PoD company in the UK,” says Neil Ringel, CEO of Polyconcept. “Combined with PFCI's core competencies in sourcing and product development, this acquisition offers attractive opportunities to provide additional services to our B2B customers and promotional distributors."

Ralf Oster, CEO of PFConcept International, adds, “Our joint expertise in high-quality digital decoration as well as the possibilities of further individualization from one article onwards will open up new sales areas for our B2B customers. We look forward to supporting our customers in this increasingly demanded segment of the market.”

T Shirt & Sons will continue to operate from its Westbury headquarters, and all employees will remain with the company. T Shirt & Sons operations, including sales and marketing will remain independent, allowing the company to continue focusing on delivering digital PoD services. Phil Morgan, senior country manager of PF Concept UK, will assume the role of managing director of T Shirt & Sons Europe. He will be responsible for leading the growth strategy across Europe and will be supported by the T Shirt & Sons existing experienced management team—Commercial Director Adam Golder, Finance Director Darren Newman and the rest of the T Shirt & Sons staff.

"We are thrilled about the new partnership with Polyconcept and to be bringing the T Shirt & Sons family onboard,” says Golder. “Over the coming months, this merging of synergies will help accelerate our ambitious growth plans. Together, we'll build on our 30-year heritage and take T Shirt & Sons on to the next stage that founders Jon and Andy Lunt have created and leave as best-in-class. With Polyconcept’s extensive product catalog and global supply chain, the future is very exciting.”
