More Than 500 Essential Workers Receive ‘Wear For Better’ Pullovers In Storm Creek Campaign
Supplier Storm Creek (PPAI 438091, S6) in Hastings, Minnesota, has announced that it has given more than 500 “Wear For Better” pullovers to essential workers in its Wear For Better Buy-One-Give-One campaign. Through this campaign, which began April 10, Storm Creek has delivered pullovers to heroes on the frontlines of COVID-19 in 33 states and Washington, D.C., with more than 50 percent of the recipients working in the health-care industry.
“This campaign began as a conversation between myself and two of my women business-owner colleagues. We challenged each other to find unique ways to make a positive impact during this unprecedented time,” says Storm Creek CEO Teresa Fudenberg. “We never expected it would have such an overwhelming response. It shows how much people really band together to support one another in tough times.”
The Wear For Better Collection includes a men’s and women’s jersey quarter-zip pullover featuring a logo that recognizes a variety of essential occupations, from medical staff, first responders, grocers, restaurant workers, farmers, bankers, mail carriers, transit workers, teachers and childcare providers and more, along with the words “Together We Fight.”
For every pullover purchased, the customer can choose an essential worker to receive a free pullover with a personalized note. There are two versions of the logo available: Minnesota and USA. Storm Creek will be expanding the program to include other select state logos in the coming weeks. To order, customers can visit www.stormcreek.com to purchase their pullover. They will receive a confirmation email with a link to select the pullover to send to their essential hero at absolutely no charge, including free shipping.
