Mary Jo Tomasini, MAS+, founder and CEO of Stevensville, Michigan, distributor CE Competitive Edge, LLC (PPAI 103776, D6), has been selected for induction into the Michigan Promotional Professionals Association (MiPPA) Hall of Fame.

Tomasini founded her company in 1993 and has successfully guided it through significant growth serving international, national and top regional clients. She has been a strong supporter of MiPPA serving on the Michigan Leadership Conference task forces and organizing the 2020 MiPPA Cares campaign that generated more than $9,000 in donations of cash and luggage for children in foster care. She has joined the MiPPA delegation in Washington, D.C. on its Legislative Education and Action Day efforts helping connect with key legislators.

She also served as the PPAI board chair in 2017-2018 and on its board of directors from 2014-2019. Tomasini has chaired and served on multiple PPAI committees and continues to serve on the Government Relations Advisory Committee.

Her service to the community includes leadership in the United Way of Southwest Michigan, as a new business mentor for the Michigan Women’s Business Council and as a member of the Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce and the St Joseph / Benton Harbor Rotary Club. Tomasini also serves as a board member of the Lake Michigan College Board of Trustees and serves on the college’s Foundation board and alumni board.

Plans for the induction ceremony and presentation of the Hall of Fame Trophy and jacket are still being finalized.
