iPROMOTEu Women’s Program Draws More Than 200 Attendees
iPROMOTEu’s (PPAI 218870) A Woman’s View program hosted its annual networking reception at The PPAI Expo. The event, held on January 11, drew more than 200 women to recognize and celebrate their peers in the industry. Designed to unite and support women in the promotional products industry, A Woman’s View was initially developed for iPROMOTEu’s women affiliates. It has since opened certain programming to all women in the industry.
Tayla Carpenter, who runs the program, says, “Deciding to host the networking reception at The PPAI Expo, one of the most widely attended events in our industry, for a second year was an easy choice. Our women distributors are driven and ready and willing to do what it takes to grow their businesses. It is a privilege to provide support and resources to assist them in accomplishing their goals.”
The event’s schedule included a performance from a Cher impersonator and a speech from Hedy Woodrow, senior vice president of retail for Wynn Resorts. In addition, A Woman’s View presented Theresa Gonzalez of Stay Visible, an independent affiliate of iPROMOTEu, with the 2017 A Woman’s View Distributor Visionary Award; and Lori Bauer of BIC Graphic with the 2017 A Woman’s View Supplier Visionary Award. These awards are given in appreciation for their commitment to the industry and in recognition of their dedication, professionalism and success.
The lead sponsors of the event were BIC Graphic, iPROMOTEu, PPAI, Promo Marketing and SAGE.
