Mohamed Amin Dadabhoy, who with his three brothers co-owned AST Sportswear—which operates in the promotional products industry as supplier Bayside Made in America—passed away on January 14 due to a heart attack. He was 62.

Dadabhoy and his three brothers founded the company 26 years ago. Abdul Rashid Dadabhoy, the company’s chief operating officer, says, “We four brothers have been together since day one. It’s going to be impossible to imagine not greeting him or seeing him every day at the office. Life, work and future trade shows will not be the same without him.”

He adds, “The apparel and ad specialty industry has lost a legend. Many of you have probably met him at a trade show and experienced that radiant smile he was always wearing. He would go out of his way to help anyone, whether he knew you or not. We are blessed that he has left us with wonderful memories.”

Dadabhoy leaves behind his wife and two sons. No services are planned.
