Gemline, MiiR Raise Funds For Clean Water Charity On The PPAI Expo Show Floor

To promote their product partnership with MiiR at The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas last month and as part of its commitment to creating positive social impact, Lawrence, Massachusetts-based supplier Gemline (PPAI 113948, S11) hosted MiiR Founder Bryan Papé and his team on the show floor. MiiR gave away sample pours of Olympia Coffee, currently sold at their MiiR flagship store in Seattle, Washington, with their vacuum insulated MiiR Camp Cups.

A $5 contribution per pour was suggested, resulting in a total donation of $2,500 to Seattle-based nonprofit Water1st International to support clean water projects. The Water1st community has given $22 million to fund 3,129 water projects, transforming the lives of 225,216 people.

MiiR is an independently owned and operated certified B Corp and a member of 1% for the Planet. Based in Seattle, its Product to Project model means every MiiR product sold helps fund trackable giving projects. To date, MiiR has given over $1 million and empowered the lives of more than 115,000 people worldwide. Its customers are invited to experience the story behind their purchase by registering the Give Code found on the base of their MiiR product. Since the commencement of Gemline’s partnership with MiiR in 2019, the company has contributed more than $50,000 to MiiR’s trackable giving initiatives.

“Focusing on eco‐friendly products and practices is not only crucial to protecting the environment, but it’s also a key way for us to align with the priorities of our customers and their clients who are paying attention to sustainability and expecting companies like Gemline to help provide solutions,” says Jonathan Isaacson, CEO of Gemline. “We are also fully‐aligned with MiiR on the importance of committing ourselves to giving back to our local, regional and global communities.”
