Edwards Garment Expands Line With Acquisition Of Bishop Custom Clothing
Supplier Edwards Garment (PPAI 198530, S11), headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan, has acquired Vancouver, British Columbia-based Bishop Custom Clothing (PPAI 196214, S5), as first reported earlier today in a PPB Newslink Breaking News alert. Edwards Garment points to the acquisition of the 20-plus-year-old company as strengthening its position to provide a better assortment of career apparel products and services.

The combination of our two unique companies creates a wider and more dynamic product offering to support large uniform programs. Bishop Custom Clothing will maintain its brand and continue to operate from its office in Vancouver. President Norm Bishop will also retain his role in the company. Edwards Garment tells PPB Newslink that the two companies are looking at how they will integrate their products and services. Their teams will be meeting this month to determine the integration and how each company’s unique product offering will enhance programs for their distributors.
