Debco Issues Voluntary Recall For Tonal Thirst Mug

Concord, Ontario-based supplier Debco (UPIC: Debco670) has issued a voluntary recall in cooperation with Health Canada and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for its Tonal Thirst Mug, known by the product SKU CM6531.

In rare instances, the mug’s handle may break off when in use. The affected colors are white/black, white/blue, white/lime and white/red, and were purchased between August 1, 2015 and April 11, 2016. In that time, 23,887 mugs were distributed in Canada and 145 in the U.S. One injury was reported in Canada.

Debco recommends that end-user customers stop using the mugs immediately and contact their respective promotional products distributor, and that distributors who sold this mug contact their client and advise them of this voluntary recall. The mugs may be disposed of immediately or returned to Debco. The supplier will offer a replacement, non-imprinted mug of higher value at no charge.
