The December issue of PPAI’s Trusted. newsletter tackles holiday decoration hazards, restrictions on soda marketing, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s work to prevent accidents and fatalities resulting from furniture tip-overs.

For nearly a week in November, the CPSC worked to raise awareness among consumers of the dangers of television and furniture tip-overs. More than 30,000 children in the U.S. are treated for injuries resulting from tip-overs each year; according to the CPSC, one child fatality occurs nearly every two weeks as a result of the issue.
