Complete Office Acquired By Office Depot

Distributor Complete Office (PPAI 696722), headquartered in Seattle, Washington, has been acquired by Office Depot. The deal closed earlier this month.

Complete Office was founded in Seattle in 2003 and now has offices in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; San Diego, California; Spokane, Washington; and Boise, Idaho. It is expected to continue to operate as a distinct brand separate from Office Depot and maintain its facilities.

Office Depot’s acquisition of Complete Office comes as the office products retailer is pivoting its operations toward a broader business services and technology products platform. Earlier this month, the company acquired Compucom Systems, a provider of IT services, products and solutions for enterprise, small and mid-sized businesses. That deal has been valued at approximately $1 billion.
