commonsku Hosts Sales Conference In Dallas

commonsku (PPAI 552077), a promotional products business and sales software provider, hosted a one-day sales conference, commonsku sessions, in Dallas, Texas, on April 4, drawing about 70 attendees to the Lorenzo Hotel. It was the first of four regional conferences the company is hosting, with subsequent events being held in Chicago on April 25, Los Angeles on May 9 and New York on May 16. Though a regional event, sales teams flew into Dallas from Florida, Colorado and North Carolina to attend the one-day education event.

Focusing on sales growth, topics taught at the conference included Catherine Graham’s “The Floodgates: Create a Never-Ending Pipeline of New Business” and “How to Double Sales Without Adding a Single New Customer”; Bobby Lehew’s class, “How to Enchant Your Customers Through the Power of Story”; Mark Graham’s session, “Appealing to the Modern Buyer: How Engagement Commerce Ignites Sales Growth”; and Sam Kates’ session, “Psychology of Sales: Learn the Secret Weapon to Connect, Relate and Increase Sales.”

The conference also featured two interview discussions: “How to Steal Marketing Share from Other Mediums,” with David Clifton, alphabroder’s chief marketing officer, sharing his experience as the CMO of Dell, and a panel interview on sales success with guests Paul Gittemeier, CEO of Tic Toc, Kirk Meyer, founder and partner at Meyer Dunlap, and John Wilkinson, architect at Promoshak.

“commonsku once again put a first-class event together in Dallas with their new sales training initiative. We found the collaboration and the sharing of best practices to be very valuable,” says attendee Carey Guglielmo, president at AST E-Commerce.
