Distributor BAMKO (PPAI 242148, D11), headquartered in Los Angeles, California, conducted a vaccination drive at its offices in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, in India, last month. BAMKO administered the Covishield vaccine, a domestically produced version of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, to both employees and their family members.

BAMKO conducts some of its programming, accounting and support services out of its office in India. To conduct the vaccine drive, it partnered with MAX Healthcare and Vinod Ortho. All expenses for the vaccines were paid for by the company.

A company statement said, “BAMKO’s highest priority is always the health and well-being of its employees and partners, in line with this ethos, the company has announced earlier to cover the cost of coronavirus vaccines of all its employees and their dependents in strict accordance with all government-approved protocols. Our employees are our family and the backbone of the company. We are also planning to run an off-site vaccination center to cover vaccination for as many employees as possible.”
