Atlantis Headwear (PPAI 753003, S1), headquartered in Venice, Italy, and distributing in North America through Sportsman Cap & Bag, has announced its commitment that by 2025, its entire collection will be produced sustainably through the use of certified materials and production processes with a lower impact on the environment.

“On our journey to sustainability, we set an important milestone,” says Federico Pasini, Atlantis Headwear brand and sales director. “This is the moment to boost our actions: for the people and for the planet.”

Top among the line’s sustainable materials is Polylana fiber, a low-impact alternative to 100-percent acrylic and wool fiber that uses less energy, water and carbon dioxide during production. This eco-efficient knitting fiber is used to produce the company’s Pure beanie. In addition, Atlantis Headwear uses a variety of eco-friendly materials and processes in its collection including organic cotton, recycled polyester and a waterless dyeing technology.

QR codes are also available on products like the Rapper Recycled Trucker Hat. These codes allow consumers to learn more about the supply chain and technical characteristics for the product—a form of transparency that helps hold the company accountable.
